VIII. Home Screen Widgets

  - A. Maintenance Due Widget — shows upcoming/overdue gear maintenance from the

    device home screen; tapping deep-links to the Reminders screen for that item

  - B. Insurance Alerts Widget — shows divers with expiring/expired insurance;

    tapping deep-links to that diver's profile

  - C. Both widgets read from an App Group–shared data store so they stay in sync

    with the main app without opening it

  - A. iCloud Sync — automatic cross-device sync for gear, dive logs, divers,

    reminders, and most settings while signed in to iCloud; local-only fallback if

    iCloud is unavailable

  - B. Export Raw Data for Support — from Dive Log's menu, exports an unparsed dump

    of a dive-computer download for troubleshooting with the developer

  - C. PDF Reports — downloadable PDF detail/service report for an individual gear

    item from its detail screen

  - D. Read-Only Mode — once the free trial ends without purchasing, editing/deleting

    is disabled app-wide (data remains visible) until the full version is unlocked
